Position: Blocker
Skating experience: I have been with SIDR since 2016, so 9 years!
Training routine: In the warmer months, I like to skate the trials outdoors. I find it great for endurance and skating skill. There uphills and down hills, so it gets your heart going. It also helps with footwork because there are all kinds of debris on the trail that you have to navigate.
Day job: Senior Editor for Kaplan
Hobbies / Interests: I like to make jewelery out of all kinds of medium. Right now I am into animal bones. I also like to collect taxidermy. I have tried my hand at doing my own taxidermy with mice and rats.
Future derby goals: I would like to keep improving my blocking skills and track leadership. I am also working giving effective offense.
Favorite derby moments: My favorite derby moment was the 2024 season closer agains Bay Sate. The team really worked together. Everyone played together as unit, and it all just felt so right. The vibe was great, and everyone really just had a great time. It was a competative bout, and we came out with a well-deserved win.
